Happy May! I was on the fence about writing a newsletter this month because I’m taking some time to figure out what I want my website/ blog/ work to be focused on. Another reason is that I have ZERO new blog posts this month… I sat down and wrote one a few weeks ago and was less than a minute from hitting the “Publish” button, then I somehow deleted the whole thing and couldn’t get it back. I was tempted to throw my laptop across the room in frustration, but instead I laughed and figured I wasn’t supposed to blog during April. This morning my mom described my newsletter as a bubble of positivity, so I thought that was pretty cool and decided to put one together today. If you like something you read in this one, you can thank my mom for its existence :)

Another thought I wanted to share is that I’ve had four individuals in distinct areas of my life tell me in the last few weeks that I would be a good life coach. I’m scratching my head about this one because I hadn’t really verbalized my interest in that to anyone (in fact, I was actively shying away from expressing it), and in the conversations where this happened, we would be talking about a much different topic. I think there is a stigma tied to what a life coach can be, which is why I have been hesitant about actively wanting and pursuing that. All of that is to say, I think the universe is telling me to get my butt in gear and take action on that. It’s exciting. It’s scary. I’m going to start learning. I’m sure to be in need of some guinea pig practice clients in the near future so let me know if you’re interested in that when the time comes.

Brene Brown’s Netflix special. It’s hilarious, heartfelt, and wholesome. How’s that for alliteration?

A book I haven’t read but imagine it’s great. Abby Wambach’s “Wolfpack”. Sounds pretty cool, huh?

I stumbled across this website - Life’s Abundance - and like their message and suite of products. I haven’t tried anything yet but plan to. I’ll report back!

Yoga Anytime. There are plenty of yoga online subscription services. I like this one because you can filter down to exactly what you want from class type, length, teacher, focus etc.

This website focused on all aspects of minimalism.

This youtube channel dedicated to all types of tiny house living. This is the only thing I will binge watch (and do so shamelessly).

This non-profit organization - Outside the Frame. Brian and I went to a piano recital last night that was a fundraiser for this organization. One of the board of directors shared his story and how this is giving marginalized youths a platform to express themselves.
