Part-Time Personal + Operations Assistant (Greenville, SC)

 
 

We are seeking a highly capable, proactive, and trustworthy part-time Personal + Operations Assistant to support a founder with both personal administrative needs and operational support for a growing ecommerce company.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of detail-oriented execution, relationship-driven communication, and strategic project support.

The right person is warm, resourceful, highly organized, and equally comfortable handling both big-picture projects and day-to-day logistics.

This is a local Greenville-based contractor role, with most work handled asynchronously and 1–2 in-person meetings per month.

Compensation is $30-50/hr DOE


Schedule + flexibility

  • approximately 15–20 hours per month

  • primarily asynchronous

  • most active collaboration tends to happen during business hours, but these can be negotiated to suit both parties the best

  • occasional quick responses via Slack or email outside those times

  • 1–2 in-person meetings per month typically Fridays or weekends

  • meetings usually near Fork & Plough / North Main / Rutherford area

Responsibilities

This role spans both personal assistant work and business operations support.

Personal + administrative support

  • scheduling and calendar coordination

  • travel booking and logistics

  • gifting and ordering

  • research tasks

  • filling out forms and applications

  • administrative follow-up such as insurance reimbursements

  • personal errands coordination

  • appointment scheduling

Operations support

  • project mapping and follow-up

  • building systems and resources to improve scalability

  • operational paperwork and documentation

  • compliance tasks

  • Shopify updates

  • process organization inside Notion

  • support with keeping projects moving smoothly

Tools used

  • Slack

  • Notion

  • Gmail

  • Google Calendar

  • 1Password

  • occasional WhatsApp / text

Experience with these is preferred, but strong adaptability matters more than exact tool familiarity.
